As Ruth rejoiced in her redemption through Boaz so we too rejoice because, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our sins according to the riches of His Grace (Eph. 1:7). Being redeemed, we are now accepted in the Beloved, chosen by Him to live a life holy and without blame before Him in love (Eph. 1:4,6).

JESUS OUR REDEEMER
Our state by nature was so fearful that no one but Jesus could redeem us; for an infinite ransom was required: and it was not only necessary that a ransom price should be paid to satisfy divine justice but omnipotent power must be exerted to rescue us from the dominion of satan and sin. The blood of Jesus is the price of our redemption, and the Spirit of God is the agent by Whom our deliverance is effected as the Word of God is proclaimed. There is no other way to be redeemed. We are redeemed unto God, and from all iniquity, so that we shall, by and by, be entirely devoted to God, and be free from all sins. The redemption that is in Christ Jesus is effectual and all His redeemed ones shall celebrate the wonders of His redeeming love forever. Many of them are doing this now, as we read "And they sang a new song saying: You are worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof, for You were slain, and have made us unto our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth', Beloved while we are still strangers here , with our citizenship in heaven with Christ, let us as the redeemed of the Lord say so with rejoicing, that we, too, shall soon be redeemed from the very presence of sin forever with him.
