There shall be showers of blessings…
Oh no! There were showers of blessings. When the showers
came down from heaven, there was wailing and crying from
almost everyone.
While some were the tears of joy, some
were the tears of repentance and some were of relief when
God’s touch of lov etook away a great from them. In
the end everybody were full of joy. All the tears, confession
and submission gave them a new joy and new sense of unity. With
a new happiness and a new resolution they returned home.
This is what had happened in the One-day retreat, “Lead
it from the front.” On 2nd October 2002. Some of the
feedbacks are as given above.
This is not all, there was wailing and
crying when the Holy Spirit started His work in one more
One-day retreat,“Aap Ki Nazar Kidhar Hai?” on
2nd October 2002. In the presence of God can anyone stand?
With tears they responded to the altar call and committed
their lives to God. It was not only a blessing to all those
who attended, but also to the speakers.
This is a very short report of the great
work of God in the three One-day retreats conducted in Kolkata.
While one of them “Aap Ki Nazar Kidhar Hai?”
was conducted in Hindi a tTitagarh (which is on the north
side of Calcutta), the other two were conducted in Bengali
on the south side of Calcutta.Suresh Das coordinated the
work in the north and Soumitra Dey coordinated the work
in the south. The main speakers were- Samuel Varghese &
Pr.K.G. Mathai in Titagarh; Rev. Swapan Dey and Joseph Joy
in Metiabruze and Joseph Joy in Thakurpukur (Oxford Mission)
on 2nd October 2002.
We could reach 226 young people through
these three one-day retreats. And the summary of the feed
back is:
And almost all decided to lead a holy
life.
All glory and Honour belongs to God who
makes things possible. I thank all of you for your sincere
prayers and request you to please continue to uphold us
in your prayers.
